What are you grateful for? Design Team inspiration with Julie Ann Shahin

Good Monday Morning! I hope you had a nice weekend. Saturday was completely beautiful and I was grateful for warm days in the month of November. This is New England so tomorrow it could very well snow. :)
I was completely inspired by design team member, Julie Ann Shahin's design team project this month (really, she inspires every month!) Julie Ann's inspiration were the Thought Bubbles that are popping up on blogs where people are using them for Christmas cards (adorable idea!) She took our Thought Bubble and had a Thanksgiving gratitude conversation with her husband and the finished Chalkboard design. Here's her little conversation with her cute hubby!

My latest DT project for Say It With Letters was to alter this unfinished Talk Bubble.

I painted it with Plaid Chalkboard Paint, which now comes in a variety of colors!!!!

My husband and I had a Thanksgiving gratitude conversation via my finished talk bubble:

What are you grateful for?

HIM

My Loving Family, Our Health, Our Freedom

What about you?

HER

Today I am grateful for a sense of humor and laughter.

And so I ask you my friends, what are you grateful for?

I have so many things to be thankful for and among them are each of you! Leave a comment and we'll do a giveaway sending some of our product!

The winner of our Girly Girl Closet is Jen. Congrats, Jen! I just e-mailed you for your address so I'll get the dresses out this week.

Chalkboard tutorial coming soon!

what a neat idea with the talk bubble ! It would be nice to hang on the frige for people to fill in now and then.
I'm thankful for my family most of all. Its so nice to have such a good family that is there for me when I'm ill, when I need a shoulder to cry on or someone to talk to or laugh with. Without them, life would be lonely and difficult.

What a brilliant idea! I have had some blackboard paint for a while and couldn't decide what to do with it. I like this idea a lot! I'm so far behind on my blo reading and posting....craft shows and a new grnadson have kept me away from the computer for the most part. I will try to catch up this week. Thank you so much for featuring my project Deb...as always, your pieces are a dream to work with!!!
Where is November going??\xoxo

Now what a great idea, thankyou for this, I am going to make a very large one for the fridge door, with "Talk to Me' plastered across it on the hope my husband remembers to tell me when he is having a few days of work to go gliding. Amazing reading scrapscene in the middle of the night and come across your blog. Great inspiration and Gee Wizz, I have just thought about another BUBBLE to present to my daughter and her husband when they get married next week.

That is so neat!! What a great idea to have everyone write what they are thankful for on the talk bubble and then take a picture with it - that would make such a nice keepsake.

The chalk board is a super cute idea. I'm so thankful that yesterday when my husband lost his wallet in the Sam's Club parking lot filled with our Christmas money, a gentleman knocked on your door and returned his wallet with everything in it. That's a miracle. And we both are very grateful!!
We are also very thankful that we have many, many blessings in our life.

Last year right after Christmas, my husband was diagnosed with a very enlarged very weak heart. I am thankful that he was able to see a great cardiologist and get help immediately. I am grateful that he took medications that shrunk his heart back down to normal size and that he can go to cardiac physical therapy to get himself back in shape. Most of all, I am so grateful that when he started to complain that he didn’t feel well, I listened to that little voice that lives in every woman’s gut and I NAGGED him until he went to the doctor and then I NAGGED him to go get the test. Sometimes being your spouses best friend means getting on their case until they get up and go take care of themselves!
