I {heart} you

So I thought I'd share these cute pictures that our good friend Dorothy sent to me. This scallop heart frame was designed by her last year. I think it's soooo cute (and so are those models of hers!) She got these in two sizes. The 10 inch size is listed in our shop but she also ordered it in 14 inches used on the three cuties above. Look for a picture of my two cuties very soon. :) I'm going to make Valentine cards with the picture. A special thank you to Dorothy for the inspiration! You can check out her photography work HERE.

sweet little butterfly

The babies are feeling much better. They still have a low grade fever but it's come down a lot since earlier in the week.

I just wanted to share this adorable butterfly that our friend Pamela created for the nursery of her soon to be baby (she's very close to having a little girl!) She used these beautiful papers from Webster's Pages. I think it's so sweet and it's not too "baby-ish" so it can stay in her room for many years. I love the soft colors and I especially love the wire antennas. You can check her post HERE for all the supplies she used. Thanks Pamela for the inspiration and best wishes for when your little one arrives.

Sick babies and another Design Team project

It's been a rough couple of days. Steven and Bella have been sick again. High fevers - higher than they've ever been so that was kind of scary. I brought them to the doctor today and they didn't say much - keep doing what we've been doing. They just wanted to be sure they didn't have an ear ache (they don't). Bella's close to having one but they said to just see how she does over the next few days and see if she can fight it off herself. Sooo.. $50 later... I'd rather just be sure they're OK of course, but it is a little frustrating. Anyway... they're also teething. Their top two teeth are going to pop through any minute. Can't wait for those molars!
Thought I'd share Heather's take on the candy shape. I just love her little Sweet Shop and the glitter is a sweet touch. All that candy is giving me the munchies. Thanks Heather for the inspiration!

What a Hoot :: Design Team Shares

It's snowing here AGAIN! I think we must have set a record already this year. It seems never-ending!

I'm watching The Parent Trap (the remake). It's so cute. I love Dennis Quaid and it's back when Lindsay Lohan was cute. HA!

So I thought I'd share these Design Team projects using our owl shape that I love so much. The shape was designed by our Design Team member, Julie Masse. Don't cha love it?! And our DT did a fabulous job, as always! Each is so different.. different colors, textures. Very sweet and very fun!

Robyn created the "it's the little things" owl. The colors are gorgeous and I love the mushrooms, buttons and stamping that she did!

Jolene worked with these *gorgeous* feathers! And I love the crackle finish she did.
And the owl is so sweet for a baby's room and that's exactly what Julie did with hers. She needed a baby gift and created this super sweet design with hers.
Beautiful job ladies. Enjoy the rest of your weekend!!

Hugs and Kisses!

More Valentine shares. I loove these letters that Kory created with our XOXO set. The letters are nice and chunky so you can add lots of embellishments. I really like the black and white papers she went with and added touches of pinks. Very sweet, dontcha think?!
Well, we survived our huge snowstorm over the weekend and shoveled ourselves out, once again! Is spring almost here yet?
I hope you all have a wonderful day!

this n that and Think SNOW!

We're well over a week into the new year. I actually didn't really make any new year's resolutions this year. Did you? I do love the start of a new year though.. sort of like getting a fresh start. January always makes me clean and nest more. Not quite sure why. But that's what I've been doing anyway.

About a week or so ago Steven started crawling.... and crawling and hasn't stopped! The first couple days he was a little unsure of himself. But now - well you can't stop him. He's all over the place! Then a couple days ago he pulled himself onto the side of his crib. He hasn't done it since but I know it's just a matter of time. They've been fun. They're really starting to play with each other, which is cute.

I thought I'd post this cute project that Raechelle Bellus created. I don't really have to THINK snow around here because it sort of just keeps happening!! This weekend we're getting a ton more! Isn't her ornament the cutest though?? When we did our ornament swap, mine were made with this mitten shape and I sent an extra one to my group for them to play with. :) Rae sent me a pic of hers. I love the ribbon she's using to hang it with. And you all know I LOOOVE that My Mind's Eye paper! Thanks Rae for sending it along. I just love it!

Hope you're all enjoying the start of your year!! Hugs!
