thank you + a giveaway!

I'm sure I'm not the only one who is on several mailing lists. It makes me so sad to receive so many lately that say they are going out of business, retiring and shutting down. The latest was the e-mail I received from My Acrylic Albums who said they're retiring due to the economy. How sad. I just wanted to say how THANKFUL I am for all of you! You are why we are able to be here and we appreciate each and every one of you!

Because we're so grateful, we wanted to have a GIVEAWAY!! I'll send off a box of goodies to a randomly picked winner. Just leave a comment and tell me what you're grateful for today.

HAPPY MONDAY!!

I am grateful today that in these times my husband still has his job. Hopefully he will still have it for a long time. Thanks!

That's so sad to hear that! It'd be nice if everyone could just stay in business and be happy and content...boo on the economy.

In the meantime, I would love some goodies! I'm thankful for a job and my husband being a student right now. I honestly think being a student is one of the safest 'careers' to have right now with things the way they are.

I am grateful for so many things, but I think the biggest one right nw is that we still have jobs. We might not have as many hours as we did have, but at least we still have a job for when things do get better.

Even though I sometimes grumble about it, I am happy that I still have my job. It's a bummer that the economy has affected so many people and businesses.

This economy stinks and I pray every day for it to start improving. I feel so bad for all the companies going out of the business and the workers who are laid off.

I'm grateful that I passed my math placement test and can enroll in college again after 22 years and that my husband has a good job so I can take the time off to go back.

I am grateful for several things: that I can stay home with my kids to see them grow up, and to have such a loving and hard working hubby. It is terrible to see the economy crumblnig these days and stores have to close down. But sometimes we have to go way down to go up again.

Thanks Deb for offering some blog candy. Glad you are still around! *wink*
