look at me! and we have power!

Bella started sitting up recently. She's pretty sturdy too. She looks so proud of herself. Steven's really close to crawling too. He gets up on all fours and rocks back and forth.

And I'm happy to say we have power. Seven days without it wasn't much fun but we're happy to have it back. Many are still without.

We've been working pretty much night and day to get all orders caught up. We got about 95% of our orders out in today's mail. We missed our mail lady and our post office was nice enough to let us sneak our packages in after hours. They're great to work with. Thank you so much for your patience!

I hope you're getting all your last minute holiday shopping and wrapping done. As always, thanks for checking in!

ice storms!

Hi Everyone! Just wanted to write a quick post to say if you've e-mailed regarding orders, we've been without power for several days and probably won't get it back until Monday or Tuesday. I'm at my sister in law's right now checking e-mails (and I got a shower too!) :) We have heat luckily.. the babies are fine and don't seem at all fazed by it. We of course, can't wait to get back to normal! Thanks for your patience and I'll be in touch early next week.

What we did this weekend...

It was a busy weekend. Considering we don't do much on the weekends, we had three activities on Saturday! Two of them we scheduled without realizing we already had a third. We took them to see Santa!! Are they cute or what?! They kept pulling on Santa's beard, poor guy, but they did really well. I wasn't sure if they'd freak a bit.. I hear that happens a lot, but they did fine. Then we went to a birthday party - their little friend Gage turned one. Then we finished off the day at Grammy's decorating gingerbread houses. We started that tradition a few years back and it's one of my favorites.

And I just wanted to share this gorgeous project by Chrys using our new candy shape (don't you just love it?!) I love how different each one is looking. She used lots of diamond dust.

Did I tell you the little ones are all over the place now? Especially Steven, man, I'll be in trouble once he's crawling. He's really close now. He gets on all fours and rocks back and forth. And Bella's really close to sitting up. Too fun!

If you read my previous post you heard about the kits that are going on sale. Welll... I just updated the shop a little early and almost EVERY kit is on sale from 10% to 50% off!! Yup! You read it right! If you've had your eye on something, now's the time to pick it up. The Ornament or Wreat Kits (which are both 50% off) take no time to put together and would make nice hostess gifts. Or how about giving your crafty friend a cute kit they can play with after the holidays?! And don't forget a gift for yourself too.

Come shop HERE or you can go directly to all the good bargains HERE!

Happy Creating Everyone!!!

What's New?? October Afternoon's Good Cheer for one!

I put together this cute kit over the weekend and thought I'd share. It's got October Afternoon's GOOD CHEER papers, alphabet stickers, cute little stickers with cute little sayings and lots of other fun embellishments. These papers are even more gorgeous in person with blues, reds and PINKS! You can find it HERE in the shop.

And I just had to post this little project by design team member Kory using our new CANDY shape. It's the CUTEST thing!! She said it was super easy and here's how she did it...

I started out by painting my shape with light ivory paint. After it had dried, I added a layer of pearl finish paint (both paints were from Delta). Next, I divided my candy into 4 parts using a pencil and a ruler, and then I used Zip Dry glue and glitter (in red & white) to create the peppermint candy part. After the glue and glitter had dried, I added ribbon, iridescent mesh, a fabric saying, and some cute little holly leaves. This project was super quick and easy to make and I love how it turned out!

Check in this weekend.. I'll be putting LOTS of kits on sale to make way for new stuff! You can also join our mailing list to get all the latest info firsthand! Click HERE to get started.

Oh, and if you're in our Handmade Ornament Swap, the deadline is tomorrow to mail our your goodies! Have a creative day.

Design Team :: Cute Kits!

The design team also got to play with some cute kits! They really outdid themselves.

Carrie created this adorable ornament with our Christmas Magic Ornament Kit. I love the glittered flower and how she wrapped the top with ribbon. Very festive and fun.

And Julie took our Glitzy Christmas Bracket Album Kit, turned it on it's side and created the sweetest gift for her sister in law. I love the cover! And did you see the cute little gingerbread cookie cutter? That's all included too!

Robyn created the prettiest old-fashioned look with our Wassail JOY Kit. I love those papers by Basic Grey. Just gorgeous Robyn!

And last, but certainly not least is Kory's design with the Merry and Bright TREE Kit. So bright and cheery and I'm just crazy about this line by My Mind's Eye. Definitely a favorite of mine this year. ENJOY!!!!!

Design Team :: Bauble Ornaments

Just look at these gorgeous ornaments that the design team created!! Each is so different and yet so fun and festive. First up is Julie Ann with her festive papers, glittered sides and dimensional embellishments. And don't you love her feathered tree??

And Robyn's are gorgeous. Rich red colors, classic embellishments and scallops! I loove scallops.

Heather is our newest design team member. She's a lover of all things vintage and makes a wonderful addition to our team! She created her look with vintage papers and wallpaper and Vintage glass glitter.
Thanks ladies for the inspiration!!
The Bauble Ornament Collection can be found HERE. As always, thanks for stopping by.

this n that + my little helper

Isn't the long weekend wonderful?? We woke up Saturday morning and said how nice it was to still have two extra days! We made pancakes and had a leisurely morning today. Babies are sleeping.. and it's quiet in the house except for the Christmas music I have playing.

Did you all enjoy your Thanksgiving? We split up our traveling over two days this year. We normally visit both my family and my in-laws and it was so nice not to feel so rushed this year.

I just saved a ton of pictures from my digital camera and came across this cute one of my little helper packing up an order with me. Isn't he the cutest little helper? :) They're both doing well although they have runny noses and they're so congested at night that they've been keeping us up for the past 3 or 4 nights. I'm exhausted but I feel worse for them when they wake up and have a hard time breathing. Poor things.

I hope you all enjoyed your holiday!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to all our American friends!

I hope you enjoy a family-filled holiday. We have so much to be thankful for and we're especially thankful for each of you who keep coming to visit and shop with us too! Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours.

Spool Wreath Kit

Remember how I said a while back that the babies were sleeping through the night? Well, over the past few weeks they've reverted BIG time! They had been getting up 2 and 3 times a night each! I was loading up on extra caffeine. :) Last night they both slept through the night and I feel so refreshed this morning. It's a good day.

I just wanted to share this adorable project that Laurie created with one of our kits. Using Melissa Frances products (a fave of mine!) I think it's my favorite new item of the season. She said it comes together very quickly too so you can't beat that!
The kits are available HERE (and only $12 bucks!)
She even made a couple extra projects with the leftover items in the kit.

Project for Kids

Most of the time I don't know what people are going to do with their letters or shapes (I do love seeing what you do!) It was neat to come across this article about the use of our letters teaching children. I've always thought the letters and shapes are great for kids projects. To read the full article you can click HERE.

More Fancy letters

I have tons of projects to post so I better get moving! Chrys and Carrie are next with the NOEL fancy letters. Each is so different and beautiful!
I love how Carrie went with a simple approach painting them all black and adding a few embellishments. Her 'E' is really sweet with the frame dangling from the center. I especially love the painted letters because they're quick and easy!
And Chrys' are all glittery goodness and PINK! I love how pink has been added to the Christmas colors, don't you? As always, thanks for checking in.

Shop Update + Yummy Bauble Ornaments

Where did the week go? It's Friday though. Yippeee!! Tonight, Steven and I are actually having a date night. That hasn't happened in I don't know how long. We're going to see a play, Guys and Dolls at one of the local theatre's. Can't wait!

I updated the shop with new KITS and a few new shapes including the most adorable pair of mittens!

This is our brand new Christmas collection of ornaments, The Bauble Ornament Collection. Do you love 'em? They range in size from 6 to 10 inches. And they just happen to be a project the Design Team got to play with. These are Kory's. I love the crackle paint she used and I think my favorite of the three is the little pink and green one. She used a fun mix of Elsie papers on these. Take a peek...

Enjoy looking and have a fun-filled weekend Everyone. Thanks for checking in!
